Qualifying Conditions

You are eligible for a medical marijuana card if you:

Reside in Florida for 31 consecutive days each year.

Maintain a temporary Florida residence.
Return to your home state, country, or jurisdiction of residence at least once a year.
Are registered to vote or pay income tax elsewhere.
Have one of these conditions:
ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral
Sclerosis), Cancer, Chronic Nonmalignant Pain, Crohn’s Disease, Epilepsy, Glaucoma, HIV-AIDS, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), Terminal Conditions, and more.

Next Steps After Approval

The subsequent actions to be taken are:

The doctor registers you in the Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR).
The state emails login credentials to you.
You complete the application and submit the $75 registration/card fee.
An approval email is sent within a few business days.
You can then purchase at the dispensary with your Florida DL or ID.
The state will mail your Medical Marijuana Card a few weeks after receiving your approval email.
